Course Description: This course provides basic instruction in the normal class routine on PLCs through reading assignments, testing, practical application, demonstration, and lectures.
Student Learning Outcomes: Introduces the application of PLCs in industrial process control, as well as the binary numbering system used in computer-based control. Covers components of PLCs, including power supplies, I/O modules, processor modules, types of communication bus, and memory.
