MST 1155 - Clinical Experience

Course Description:
Demonstrate the ability to interview a client, perform a relaxation massage based upon client needs and record the findings in a suitable manner for massage therapy in a clinical setting. 

Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to interview a client, perform a relaxation massage based upon client needs and record the findings in a suitable manner for massage therapy in a clinical setting. (CSLO 28) 

    1. Create a SOAP Note from Client Interview that Meets All Regulations. 
    2. Perform a Massage Based on the Interview Information. 
    3. Always Perform Appropriate and Safe Draping of the Client During the Massage. 
    4. Complete the SOAP Note Based on the Outcome Information from the Performed Massage. 
    5. Perform all Therapist Duties Including, but Not Limited To: Cleaning of Space, Putting Sheets In  Proper Hamper When Done, Making Sure that Paying Clients Pay for Their Time, and Turning in all Paperwork Needed for a Massage.
