Course Description:
Demonstrate the knowledge of and ability of being able to apply stretches to the body without harm to self, or client, while aiding in the relaxation of the client’s body.  Demonstrate understanding of massage cautions and contraindications. Understand and demonstrate the ability to work with a client using myofascial protocols. 

Student Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate proper use of stretches for the neck and shoulders for any situation in massage. 

  • Demonstrate proper use of stretches for the arms, wrists, and hands for any situation in massage. 

  • Demonstrate proper use of stretches for the back, hips, and legs for any situation in massage.
