IMC 3010 - Introduction to Electrical Circuit Diagrams and Wiring Design

Course Description: This course focuses on the skills needed to draw, interpret, and design basic electrical circuits. Students will explore electrical symbols, circuit components, and practical wiring techniques, gaining the knowledge to create and troubleshoot functional circuits.
Student Learning Outcomes:

Identify and use standard electrical symbols and device names in circuit diagrams.

Learn to draw simple circuits and label them appropriately.

Understand and analyze circuit diagrams, including motor and control circuits.

Identify and explain the function of basic circuit components and the structure of control circuits.

Demonstrate skills such as wire stripping, crimping, and labeling using wire number makers.
