Course Description: This course examines primary infectious disease etiology, symptoms, transmission, prevention and control, as well as requirements and handling diagnostic samples properly. Emphasizes high exposure diseases (viral, bacterial, mycotic, and parasitic) that might involve the lab animal technician.
