Course Description:
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance introduces reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints with a focus on reviewing common elements and the differences between types of drawings. Additionally it covers control frames, types of control and control symbols.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Read various geometric prints and can use basic measuring tools to measure various dimensions.
- Draw basic prints showing dimensions of parts with specific tolerances.
