EMCH 2490 - Capstone in Electromechanical Technology


Credit hours: 4

Course Description:
This course provides a platform for students to apply required skills and knowledge to complete a multi-faceted project relative to the field of study. This capstone course can be either a field experience such as an internship or a project-based course.  The description will vary among institutions.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

  1. Understand, explain, design, and create an electromechanical-based project in either an individual or team-based scenario from inception through completion.
  2. Demonstrate application of basic process analysis and problem solving skills.
  3. Present and defend the outcomes of the electromechanical-based project.
