Course Description:
This course is designed to introduce students to the concepts of CNC milling. This course provides training for CNC operators, not CNC machinists or CNC programmers.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- Safely and efficiently operate a CNC mill to accurately produce machined parts.
- Measure the finished parts to ensure that all parts are within the required specifications.
- Perform setup and layout procedures, end-of-production cleanup, and return all tools and materials to the appropriate storage locations.
