Course Description:
Learn the names and uses of most of the non-cutting tools used by machinists in the machine shop.

Student Learning Outcomes:
  • Prepare and Plan for Bench Work and Machining Operations.
  • Demonstrate Proper Use of Hand Tools.
  • Operate Power Saws.
  • Operate Drill Presses.
  • Introduction to Vertical Milling Machines (basic).
  • Introduction to Metal Cutting Lathes (basic).
