Course Description: The study of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of young children and their application to the care, guidance, and development of the child birth through age eight - Topics include: Reflexes, motor sequence, fine/gross motor skills, expressive language/language comprehension, self-help skills, cognitive operations, social and emotional characteristics.
