WELD 2120 - Pipe Welding

Course Description:
Pipe Welding prepares the student for pipe joint welding within ASME, API,or AWS specifications. Students pass visual and guided bend tests in the 2G, 5G, and 6G positions.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

Operate SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding equipment.
Perform pipe welds in the 2G, 5G, and 6G positions.
Pass visual and Guided bend tests in accordance with applicable codes.
