ENST 2336 - GPS and Survey Adjustments

Course Description: This course will provide the skills necessary to understand the fundamentals of Global Positioning Systems and their applications in the world of construction and field surveys.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Understand the basic operation of the GPS system, including code and carrier phase GPS techniques.
- Use and understand Mission Planning software.
- Perform static, rapid static, kinematic and RTK surveys with GPS equipment.
- Execute various vertical and horizontal survey adjustments.
