Program Description:
The Industrial Electricity Technology Program prepares students for careers in electrical maintenance, installation, and repair across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on training and theoretical instruction in electrical systems, circuits, motors, transformers, robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and the National Electrical Code. Students develop skills in reading schematics and wiring diagrams, applying Ohm’s Law, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment using industry-standard tools and safety practices, including PPE and lockout/tag-out. The program integrates theory tests, lab work, and workforce readiness to ensure students are equipped for success in today’s manufacturing and electrical industries.
