The Allied Health and Medical Assisting program is a 6-month certificate program, which consists of a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences. These experiences expose the student to the wide variety of tasks and responsibilities required of today’s Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, and Medical Assistant.
Program Outcomes: Upon passing the required coursework, the student is prepared to take the State of Tennessee Nurse Aide (CNA) exam, the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam, the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam, and the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam (CCMA).
