Program Description: The Earthmoving Equipment Operator program is a 6-month certificate program which consists of classroom, shop, and hands-on activities. These activities will prepare the student to safely operate and maintain a variety of earthmoving equipment.
Program Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, each student will have a basic knowledge of blueprint reading, forklift operation, safety procedures, machine maintenance, loading, unloading, and operation of a dozer, skid steer, backhoe, and excavator used in heavy equipment construction.
